#Blogtober16 Day 9 Favourite Movies You Never Get Sick Of Watching
I can't believe I've managed to get to Day 9 of posting everyday! Today it's about Favourite Movies You Never Get Sick Of Watching. I'm one of those people who can read a book again and again. I can also watch a film again and again so there are loads that I am happy to watch again. Most of them are old films from the 80s and 90s. I'm not sure if that's because the films were better or if they are just my sort of film. I really do not like horror movies but love a bit of gratuitous violence Tarantino style so would include all of his films. I love the classics too, Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, It's A Wonderful Life.In the 80's I watched Top Gun and Arthur practically every week. I loved them both. I'm a real sucker for a romantic film and Arthur (the original with Dudley Moore) was just so funny too.
All the Indiana Jones films and Romancing The Stone (Michael Douglas). I love anything with Tom Hanks. Big, Philadelphia right through to Bridge Of Spies.
So basically it's actors I can watch again and again so a quick list;
Tom Hanks
Clint Eastwood
Tom Cruise
Simon Pegg
Michael Caine
Christopher Reeve (in Superman can watch them all again and again)
John Travolta and Woody Harrelson
Humphrey Bogart
Harrison Ford
and on and on......
Just a very few of my all time favourites.
Top Gun
Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis Top Gun 1986 Paramount Pictures |
Pretty Woman
Julia Roberts and Richard Gere Pretty Woman Touchstone Pictures 1990 |
Stand by Me
Will Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Jerry O'Connell Stand By Me Columbia Pictures 1986 |
Love Actually
Emma Thomson and Alan Rickman Love Actually 2003 Universal Studios |
Paul
Simon Pegg and Paul 2011 Universal Pictures |
Gran Torino or in Fact any film with Clint Eastwood
Clint Eastwood Gran Torino 2008 Warner Bros |
