Slimming World Weigh In #11


Back on plan and now I am starting to think about the variety of the meals that I eat. I think we are very good as we have fish at least twice a week and also lots of chicken. We also are very good at eating vegetables, fruit and salads. My only hesitation is that I do love Slimming World chips and roast vegetables and wonder if it is a good thing. We eat lots of boiled rice, pasta and boiled potatoes but roasted veg (including chips) are my favourite. We do cook them all in Fry Light so Syn free.

How am I doing this week?


I lost half a pound. I am pleased that I lost, but wish it was more (don't we all!).

I did read that a Slimming World member lost lots of weight and drank lots of water. I must admit that I do not drink enough so this week I am going to make sure I drink at least two pints a day (about a litre) and see if it makes any difference with my weight loss next week. I'll let you know how I get on.

What have I eaten this week?

Breakfast

Eggs
Yoghurt
Fruit
Porridge oats with semi-skimmed milk

Lunch

Ham, pesto pasta and salad
Baked potato, tuna and cheese
Salmon, pasta and broccoli
Baked potato, baked beans and cheese
Lamb, potatoes, brussel sprouts and onion gravy
Cod with bacon and tomatoes, chips and salad
Ham, carrots, peas and potatoes

Dinner

Chicken, chips, grated vegetables, sweet potatoes, broccoli
Chicken, potatoes and salad
Chicken Mediterranean stew, potatoes and cabbage
Slow cooked lamb, potatoes and Brussels sprouts
Chicken curry and rice
Chicken, roasted vegetables and boiled rice
Spagetti Bolognese

In Between

Brazil nuts
Muller light yoghurts
Cheese
Fruit
Greek yoghurt, bananas and Maple Syrup - Just a teaspoonful drizzled over and only1 Syn

Total Syns this week = 63
Total weight loss = 1 stone 2.5lbs

My best recipe of the week is Sea Bass with Bacon and Tomatoes. This is an amazing combination. I didn't think bacon and fish would go but they really do. It's also great with cod or any white fish.

  1. Well done on your lose. I have found I lose better when I drink my water but been lagging lately.
