Slimming World Weigh In #8
Eight weeks and I'm still on track. I have wanted to break the rules a couple of times with the thought "one won't hurt" "a little bit will be OK" but I have resisted. I'm not really missing anything, it's more that when I get peckish I just do not fancy fruit. I want chocolate, or bread or pies!
How Am I doing This Week?
Yes! I lost another pound so now I have lost a stone (and half a pound). It's going slowly but steadily. I am so pleased to get this award. It really does make me want to carry on to my target.
I bought some Lidl fat free yoghurts and I thought they'd be Syn free, but they are 2.5 Syns each. Thats a lot for a yoghurt, so beware what you're buying. It seems fat is replaced with sugar.
What Have I Eaten This Week?
Breakfast
EggsPorridge oats with semi skimmed milk
Fruit with 0%fat Greek Yoghurt
Lunch
Ham and tomatoey potatoesChicken and sweet potato chips
Chicken roast dinner
Chicken noodles and stir fry
Cod and rice
Sea Bass, broccoli, sweetcorn and potatoes
Ham, sweetcorn and chips
Dinner

Chicken soup
Chicken, sweetcorn and chips
Pork meatballs and Orzo
Grilled chicken and "super"salad (meal out and I asked for no dressing)
InBetween
Cheese
Brazil Nuts
Fruit
Muller light yoghurt
Total Syns this week = 49
Total weight lost = 14.5lbs
I had a few best recipes this week, Roast chicken dinner is one, I treated myself to a serving spoon (30ml) of homemade gravy and it was delicious. I'm not sure how many Syns but looking at carvery gravies I guess it was about one, I counted two just to make sure. Another best recipe is herby rice and tomatoey potatoes. Both really easy to make and Syn free. Sea Bass with tomatoes and bacon was surprisingly yummy but my best recipe this week is Pork Meat Balls with Orzo.
