Mini Break in Weston-Super-Mare and Den Building
We didn't have Bear this week we had a week off. The plan was to catch up on all the little things that need doing around the house and garden. The weather put paid to the gardening, it rained a lot so we decided to visit
Weston Super Mare for the day. That turned into an overnight stay and before we knew it the week had gone. Time really does fly past.
I couldn't go a whole week without seeing Bear so we popped over for lunch on Tuesday.

Mini Break in Weston-Super-Mare
On Wednesday we stopped off at Brean Down before heading to Weston Super Mare and had a walk along the Ridge. It was a shame that I had forgotten to bring the big camera (Nikon DSLR) and the weather was so overcast as the views must be stunning on a clear day and my iPhone wasn't up to taking very good photos in the poor light.

We had a fantastic cottage right on the seafront with views across the sea. It was a serviced apartment so like being in a hotel but with all the facilities of self-catering. We only stayed one night but it would be a superb cottage for a week or longer.
The rain came as the sun went down but brought with it a fantastic sunset.

Den Building
We had been planning to do something with the area under the decking for ages and had planned to build a den for Bear on our week off. The weather put paid to that but we did get the decking down. We are planning a waterproof roof and to fill in the sides. Maybe cheap shower curtains will keep the rain out for the short term. It's a work in progress.
