Plantabox Personalised Wooden Apple Crates - Review

Plantabox Personalised Wooden Apple Crates - Review

Whenever I am asked to review personalised gifts I struggle. I do not use Bear and Bee's real names so can't have those, but when Plantabox asked me if I would like to review* their personalised wooden apple crates, I said yes.

As soon as I saw them I knew exactly what I wanted and what I would put on them. They make gorgeous toy boxes too which I would have loved but decided I would have something for Grandad and me.

If you are looking for a gift, Plantabox have something for everyone.

Plantabox Kitchen Caddy

Grandad does all the cooking and has all his condiments and "potions" on the side in the kitchen. A kitchen caddy would be perfect.

I chose grey as it fitted with my decor, but they make them in fifteen different colours, and you can have up to twenty four characters on each line.

The caddy is strong and well made. There are no rough bits or sharp corners. The text is clear and each individual space is large enough to take a full sized bottle of cooking oil (or a bottle of wine!).

Christmas Table Centre Crate

Every Christmas we decorate the mantlepiece with fresh greenery. Holly and ivy and whatever evergreen we can find. It looks beautiful but only lasts a week or so as the cuttings are placed directly on the shelf. As soon as I saw this I knew I wanted it. It has a tray inside that you could fill with florists foam to keep the cuttings looking good.

It also has the most delightful heart shaped cut out handles, which make it really easy to move from one place to another. You can have up to thirty characters on one line and choose to have it on one side or both, all included in the price.

I had text just on one side as I intend to use it for every holiday, including Halloween (see below). I filled mine with what is available now to show you how gorgeous it can look, come Christmas I shall use a potted Poinsettia as my centrepiece and not have to worry about drips as the tray will catch any water.

The Christmas Table Centre Crate comes in ten different colours, imagine it on a window sill, in a pastel colour full of potted flowering plants in the Spring - or filled with bright chocolate eggs and daffodils at Easter

 Hallowe'en Plantabox Table Centre

The same box, turned around and decorated for Hallowe'en. It only took a few minutes to do and was great fun. On Hallowe'en I will put it on the window sill and turn on the ghosts (they are battery operated and light up).

Maybe put a pumpkin or three in it? So many options. The Spooky Halloween Bunting is easy to make too.

Plantabox Wooden Apple Crates are so versatile. they are well made, beautiful colours and ordering is really easy. Personalisation is included in the price and delivery is free when you spend over £50. Delivery is timed and tracked so no waiting in and you can opt to have either text messages or emails to keep you up to date with delivery.

The boxes came packaged in a cardboard box, with cardboard as filling - not a piece of plastic in sight, perfect for those of us trying to reduce our plastic footprint.

The Kitchen Caddy cost £39 and the Christmas Table Centre £34.
